" Papassinos "

I was prepared in autunm, on the occasion of All SAints' Day. It is a shortpastry enriched with dried fruits: nuts and raisins are added to the dough and used as topping.
Another version of the same pastry - once considered as more sophisticated - is topped with amise-flavoured icing.

Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, lard, fresh eggs, sultana, nuts, vegetable margarine, honey, lemon flavour, chemical yeast..
